The Diavelo brand of e-bikes once again had a commanding presence at the show with a
variety of bikes that ranged from futuristic city bikes to the ever-growing fat bike.
One of the most eye-catching e-bikes at Eurobike was the Heisenberg XF1, which was the byproduct of a collaboration between two of Europe’s leading e-bike designers—Michael Hecken and Karlheinz Nicolai (and friends).
Named after the German theoretical physicist Werner Heisenberg, the four-bar linkage system was designed with
the help of the BMW Design Center specifically to accommodate the Gates Carbon belt drive. The bikes can be
custom-built and delivered to your house with a choice of either a Bosch 250- or 500-watt motor.
