With this sort of passion for battery-pack design, it isn’t surprising
that RPE builds complete custom bikes with a mid-drive-assist unit,
a U.S.-made Good Day Cycles frame and an RPE battery pack.
Even though RPE has many hard packs available, it chose
to go with a soft case to allow a pack shape that mounts
the battery as low and central in the frame as possible.

The service that RPE can provide for the e-bike consumer
is multi-faceted—cyclists with older e-bikes that run with a
battery brand that are either no longer available or extremely
expensive, or with riders who want more distance from an
existing battery pack. In some cases, RPE can replace weak
or faulty cells to extend the life of a pack, or fill the existing
case with new, tested and proven cells.
Here’s how it works: If the customer has an end-of-life
or poorly performing battery, RPE has the customer run the
battery dead and ship it to them with ground delivery to
alleviate any need for “hazardous materials or dangerous
