DOES THIS BIKE MAKE
ME LOOK PHAT?
Without a doubt Haibike’s line
of fat bikes stand out, at least in
looks. While we love the look of
fat bikes, when it comes to all-around mountain biking, they’re
not always as much fun to ride
as their thinner-tired siblings.
Although more fat bikes are
beginning to get spec’d with
suspension as the industry has
finally come to grips with their
specific needs, owing to the
bounce of their oversized tires,
most fat bikes are hardtails.
With a motor, batteries and the
huge tires, fat bikes are hard to
lift over stuff, and the rear wheel
takes a beating.
Enter Haibike’s Full FatSix, a
bike with the advantages of fat
tires and full suspension. This is the
Sduro version with a Yamaha motor,
currently the only choice offered with
full suspension.
Instead of using the normally clean
graphics that Haibike is known for, all of
the graphics on this bike have a splattered
paint look, including the head tube badge.
It fits the personality of this bike. You can
get this bike in any color you want, as long
as that color is gray. It looks nicer than the
ubiquitous matte black on everything else
these days, and it matches the dirt you’ll
collect on it on the trail.

suspension
aren’t afraid of
soft, off-camber turns, even
at high speeds.
